Add Comment This post is so perplexing. The first apostrophe is unthinkable; the second is perfect. How did the same person manage this mangled mess? The style tips featured in this advertisement are far more unseemly than the apostrophe misuse -- and that's saying a lot! Submitted by Julie Nelson The apostrophe error is glaring. Less obvious is the errant colon. Once again, the simple elements of a sentence should not be separated by internal punctuation. In this case, a colon is separating the preposition from its object.
